Ippocalyptica Easily the best sludge / post-metal band this side of Arrakis, I was not sure that Dvne could have surpassed their previous output but was happily surprised to see that they did exactly that on Voidkind. They still have that progressive and adventurous streak that brings to mind The Ocean, but they never forget to bring crushing power and a sense of awe to every song. To paraphrase the great Stilgar: “Dvne is too humble to admit they are great. Even more reason to know they are!”
