Max Niessl Might be the first live album I've bought. Wonderful performance and the mix is sublime! Favorite track: Omega Severer (Live).

lallig00d There's something about the looping melodies & prgressions over such groovy drums that leaves me in a hypnotic trance. This is not an experience that metal usually goes in, but DVNE does it with mastery. Just wish that for this being a live album that there was any crowd noise present in the mix. Favorite track: Satuya (Live).
Ippocalyptica thumbnail
Ippocalyptica I rarely buy live albums, and this could very well be the only one in my entire Bandcamp collection (though I cannot be arsed to verify). So what makes Cycles of Asphodel so special? I am still figuring it out, but it seems as though DVNE has the gift of writing very heavy post-metal / sludge songs of comparable power to Hadal and Kevel, with the progressive elegance of The Ocean, and a splash of psychedelia for good measure. This comes across as spellbinding in a live context. Good stuff! Favorite track: Satuya (Live).

In March 2021 Dvne released their seminal second album Etemen Ænka which was hailed by fans and press alike around the globe.

And despite the global pandemic, Dvne managed to play two successful European tours with their label mates Déluge and UK shooting stars Bossk.

For the first anniversary of Etemen Ænka, Dvne decided to set up a special live performance including new takes on tracks featuring on the album which includes Lissa Robertson on vocals and violin.

The outstanding live performance was filmed and recorded in their hometown Edinburgh, with the help of producer and long time collaborator Graeme Young, who produced Etemen Ænka and Asheran.
